Lucy Manning

SENIOR DESIGNER

Lucy is an illustrator and designer specializing in hand-drawn maps and storefronts, print design and layout. When she’s not working, she’s hunting down the best doughnuts in the Triangle.

Her hobbies include: reading, re-watching Gilmore Girls for the 100th time and running her freelance illustration biz (after Piedmont closes, of course).

Jacob Garcia

MOTION DESIGNER

Jacob Garcia is a motion designer, animator, illustrator, and all-around creative force based in Raleigh, North Carolina. With a style that blends sharp design instincts, kinetic storytelling, and just the right amount of chaos, Jacob brings brands to life through motion that feels human, energetic, and impossible to ignore. Whether he’s building animated campaigns, designing visuals frame-by-frame, or making something weird just to see if it works, his work is rooted in curiosity, personality, and a genuine love for the craft.

Outside the studio, Jacob spends his time with his dog Benji, falling down internet rabbit holes, obsessing over music and movies, and connecting with the creative community around him.

Brad Stoneking

OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Brad Stoneking is a seasoned graphic designer and founder of Piedmont Brand Co.. With over 25 years of experience spanning poster design, agency work, and brand building, Brad has built a reputation for blending strategic thinking with bold, punk-rock creativity. Beyond design, he’s a conference speaker, writer, and community builder, passionate about helping creatives sharpen their craft.

When he’s not in the studio, Brad can be found exploring Disney with his family, tinkering with home projects, or diving into music, comics, and counter-culture.
